Naquele baú, também achei essa carta. Escrita pela vovó (Maria Escolástica de Freitas) em 1936, quando mamãe tinha apenas 10 anos de idade.




dia 20 de janeiro de 1936 que José segue para Congonhas do Campo afim de estudar para missionário Redentorista, segunda feira. Eu intrego para a minha Mãe Maria Santíssima, guardai-o O minha mãe sobre vossa protecção amem. fiel aos divinos mandamentos e vos peço o! eterna mãe a proteção à todos os meus filhos guardae sobre proteção até a morte faz em que nos todo...
